1. Our commitment
WEB-AUDIT, operated by [COMPANY], is built to be usable by everyone, including people who browse with a screen reader, a keyboard only, magnification, or reduced motion. We ship an accessibility scanner as part of the product, so holding our own site to the same bar is the least we can do. Accessibility is treated as part of the work, not a cleanup pass at the end.
2. The standard we target
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. This statement describes how the site currently measures up against that target rather than claiming a completed audit.
3. What we have done
- Semantic HTML with landmarks and a logical heading order on every page.
- Every interactive control reachable and operable by keyboard, with a visible focus state.
- Labels on all form fields — including visually hidden labels where the design has no visible one.
- Live scan progress announced to assistive technology through polite live regions.
- Colour contrast checked against the AA thresholds across our dark interface.
- Animations and transitions respect the operating system’s reduce-motion setting.
We also run our own accessibility and mobile-responsiveness module — the same axe-core-based checks we run for customers — against this site, which keeps regressions visible to us early.
4. Known limitations
Some areas are still being improved. Long scan reports contain dense data tables that can be tiring to navigate with a screen reader, and a small number of third-party embeds are outside our direct control. We have not yet completed a formal third-party conformance audit, so this statement reflects our own testing.
5. Reporting an accessibility issue
If any part of WEB-AUDIT is difficult or impossible for you to use, please tell us — it is the fastest way for us to fix it. Email hello@web-audit.me with the page, what you were trying to do, and the assistive technology or browser you were using. We aim to reply within 1–2 business days and will tell you what we can fix and when. You can also reach us through our contact page.
6. Keeping this current
We review this statement whenever the interface changes meaningfully, and update the “last updated” date above when we do.
